U of T Application Deadline for Fall 2027 and What You'll Need

U of T’s deadline to apply on OUAC for Fall 2027 entry is January 15, 2027, for every applicant, though U of T recommends applying by November 7, 2026 for early consideration. That isn’t the whole picture: many programs want more after you apply, on dates of their own.

What every U of T applicant sends

You apply to U of T on OUAC. Each U of T program area you choose counts as a separate application, and you can apply to up to three. Once you’ve applied you get a JOINid, and several supplementary applications and profiles are filled in afterwards on Join U of T, so leave time between submitting on OUAC and those deadlines.

Plenty of programs, across St. George, UTM and UTSC, need only the application and your grades. The ones that ask for more are where the extra dates come from.

What some programs add

Engineering asks for a supplemental application and timed video responses, Rotman Commerce a written response and video responses, Computer Science short written answers, and Trinity and Victoria Colleges profiles of their own. U of T Engineering’s video questions, the Rotman Commerce supplemental application and Trinity College’s four questions each have a guide of their own.

Daniels wants a “One Idea” portfolio, Music an audition and interview, and UTSC’s programs a Supplementary Application Form. Vic One, Trinity One and Munk One have applications of their own. The U of T National Scholarship and the Lester B. Pearson International Scholarship start earlier still, with a nomination from your school in October.

That’s the shape of it. The exact dates depend on your program and where you finish high school, and some haven’t been published yet. AcceptMe’s free Application Planner has every one of them, for the programs you pick.
