UBC Application Deadline for Fall 2027 and What You'll Need
UBC’s application deadline for Fall 2027 entry is January 15, 2027, for every direct-entry degree at UBC Vancouver. That one date isn’t the whole picture, though: what else you send, and when, depends on your program and where you finish high school.
What every UBC applicant sends
You apply to UBC through EducationPlannerBC, wherever you finish high school; it’s the same account you’d use for UVic’s application. One application holds a first- and second-choice degree, on either campus, and UBC says you can’t edit it once it’s submitted.
Almost every program also asks for the UBC Personal Profile: short written answers about who you are and up to five activities, plus the names of two referees. UBC reads it alongside your grades, for admission and for scholarships, so it’s the part worth starting early. How to answer each UBC Personal Profile question walks through the prompts.
Then your grades. How they reach UBC depends on where you go to school: BC students order a transcript with their BCeID, Ontario students’ marks arrive through OUAC, and students elsewhere in Canada upload a transcript in the spring.
What some programs add
Some programs want more than the Personal Profile. Sauder asks two extra Commerce questions and a video interview. Music, Fine Arts, Design and Media Studies want auditions, portfolios or supplemental applications, and the dual degrees have applications and interviews of their own. Several of those are due on different days from the main deadline.
Scholarships close earlier too. To be considered for the Presidential Scholars Award, your application has to be in by December 1, 2026; UBC’s early and regular admission rounds explains what applying that early does and doesn’t change.

That’s the shape of it. The exact dates depend on your program and where you finish high school, and some haven’t been published yet. AcceptMe’s free Application Planner has every one of them, for the programs you pick.
