Waterloo Application Deadline for Fall 2027 and What You'll Need
Waterloo’s application deadline for Fall 2027 entry is February 1, 2027 for most programs, and January 15, 2027 for Engineering. That isn’t the whole picture, though: many programs ask for more after you apply, on dates of their own.
What every Waterloo applicant sends
You apply to Waterloo on OUAC. You can apply to at most three Waterloo programs, and only one of them can be in Engineering. After you apply, any forms Waterloo wants appear in your Waterloo applicant portal, so check it once your OUAC application is in.
More than half of Waterloo’s programs ask for nothing beyond the application and your grades. Most Waterloo scholarships are automatic, too.
What some programs add
Engineering, Software Engineering and the Math programs, Computer Science included, want an Admission Information Form, and Engineering adds an online video interview. The Waterloo Engineering AIF and video interview and the Math and Computer Science AIF walk through what each asks. The Math programs also look at contest results such as the Euclid.
Pharmacy (CAP) is a second application with references, a Casper test and an interview, and Architecture runs a second stage with a portfolio and an interview. If Waterloo is one of several Ontario schools, the Ontario supplementary application calendar shows how the extra pieces stack up.
