University of Calgary Application Deadline for Fall 2027
The University of Calgary’s application deadline for Fall 2027 entry is March 1, 2027, for every program. That one date isn’t the whole picture, though: most offers wait for grades that arrive later, and some programs ask for more.
What every UCalgary applicant sends
Canadian applicants apply through ApplyAlberta, the same account you’d use for the University of Alberta’s application. You choose two programs and can change them until the deadline, when the application fee has to be paid too. Most UCalgary programs ask for nothing beyond the application and your grades.
UCalgary reviews you each time new grades arrive. An early review on four Grade 11 courses makes a smaller number of offers at a higher average; most high school offers come once first-term Grade 12 grades arrive, from mid-February to early April.
What some programs add
Health Sciences asks four short written questions, Music and Dance hold auditions, and Visual Studies wants a portfolio. Nursing admits by lottery in rounds, and the first round needs every document in early.
Scholarships start sooner. The High School Prestige Awards need a 90% admission average and close December 1, 2026; the President’s Admission Scholarship, for averages of 95% and up, needs no application.
Applying in BC as well? UBC’s application and UVic’s application go through EducationPlannerBC instead.

That’s the shape of it. The exact dates depend on your program and where you finish high school, and some haven’t been published yet. AcceptMe’s free Application Planner has every one of them, for the programs you pick.
