BeMo Academic Consulting Review for Undergraduate Applicants
BeMo Academic Consulting is the biggest brand in admissions consulting, with more public reviews than any other firm in this series and a “Get In Or Your Money Back” guarantee on the homepage. Most of its business is medical and dental school, but it also sells an undergraduate service and publishes a Kira Talent prep guide, so a Grade 12 searching for Kira help lands there. This is what BeMo offers a high-school applicant, what is known about the price, where its undergraduate material is thin, and what a self-serve coach does that a package cannot.
What BeMo is
BeMo Academic Consulting was founded by Dr. Behrouz Moemeni and describes itself as having more than two hundred admissions experts. It is, first and foremost, a medical and dental school consultancy: CASPer, MMI, personal statements and application review for professional programs are the heart of the catalogue. AcceptMe does not grade CASPer, MMI or medical-school interviews and is not an alternative to BeMo for any of that. This page is about the undergraduate piece only.
BeMo’s undergraduate admissions page offers four things:
- University selection and application review.
- CASPer prep, relevant to a few undergraduate nursing and health programs.
- Interview prep, sold in packages.
On Kira specifically, BeMo publishes a long Kira Talent guide, updated at the end of December 2025, which states that BeMo is an independent provider of Kira Talent preparation programs and practice tests, branded Kira Talent SIM. We could not find a product page for the SIM, and the guide does not name a single Canadian undergraduate program that uses Kira: not Ivey, not Queen’s Commerce, not Schulich, not Waterloo. For a student whose whole question is “what does the Ivey AEO interview actually ask,” that matters.
There is no price list. You contact BeMo, describe your situation, and are quoted a package.
What BeMo costs
Not published (checked 7 September 2026). BeMo’s own plans and pricing page says the price is different for each student. The only public figures come from a third party: the review site EduReviewer reported in January 2026 that BeMo’s interview-preparation packages ran from $1,047 to $5,097. Those are EduReviewer’s figures, not BeMo’s, and the undergraduate packages may be priced differently.
| Product | Price |
|---|---|
| Any package, per bemoacademicconsulting.com | Not published; “different for each student” |
| Interview prep packages, as reported by EduReviewer, January 2026 | $1,047 to $5,097 |
AcceptMe, with unlimited timed on-camera interview practice plus the essay coach and the Story Bank, is C$49 a month, and you cancel the month you submit. A whole application season comes to a fraction of the lowest reported BeMo package.
The reviews, the guarantee and the success rate
BeMo holds a 4.9 rating on Trustpilot from 15,329 reviews at the time of writing, which is an extraordinary number for this industry and a real signal that a great many clients were satisfied. Two things to read alongside it. BeMo is a paying Trustpilot subscriber, which is a normal commercial arrangement and not a mark against the reviews, but it is worth knowing when you compare the count with a small firm that has a dozen Google reviews it never solicited. And the population reviewing is overwhelmingly medical and dental applicants, so the score tells you little about the undergraduate service specifically.
The homepage guarantee, “Get In Or Your Money Back,” has conditions, and they are BeMo’s to publish; read them in full before you pay, because a guarantee is only as good as the fine print you agree to. The advertised 93.5% success rate has no published methodology, and in a business that quotes each student individually before selling to them, it is likely a selection effect as much as anything: the students who buy premium packages are already the students with the grades to get in. That does not make the number false. It makes it uninformative about what would happen to you.
What a package can and cannot do for a Kira interview
Pay BeMo for what it is good at, which is judgement on professional admissions: an MMI is a live, multi-station, human-scored exercise where a coach who has run hundreds of them earns the fee. An undergraduate Kira interview is a different animal. It is not a judgement problem. It is a performance problem. Ivey’s Kira interview is a handful of questions in one sitting with no retakes; Sauder gives you 30 seconds to think and 90 seconds to answer. The skill being tested is whether you can produce a structured, specific answer under a clock, on camera, on the first take, and it is built the way any performance skill is built: by doing it, reviewing the recording, and doing it again.
A mock interview with a BeMo consultant reacts to you. A person nods, softens a question, prompts you when you stall. The Kira camera does none of that, so a human mock is not a rehearsal of the exam you will sit, and a package that includes a few of them is not the same as a tool that lets you sit the timed format forty times. The research is unusually clear on this. In the studies on our research page, an unguided practice run before a recorded video interview changed nothing, tips videos changed nothing, and the group that improved was the one that practiced with an automated interviewer and then read feedback on their own recording. A consultant can tell you what a good answer sounds like. Only reps make yours sound like that.

Where two hundred consultants beat a tool
A consultancy of BeMo’s size can do things AcceptMe cannot: a human can read your tone and presence, and a team that has coached thousands of professional-school applicants has judgement on strategy that no software has. For medicine and dentistry, we are not in the conversation and say so. What a consultancy cannot sell, at any package tier, is reps, and the skill a timed Kira interview or a supplementary essay tests is built by doing it many times with feedback each time. One caution for the whole industry: an application review that starts producing your sentences is putting words in your mouth, and admissions readers are good at hearing it. The founder’s account of why we built AcceptMe is the argument in full.
Who should hire BeMo
- Applicants to medical, dental or other professional programs, where BeMo’s depth on CASPer, MMI and the application cycle is the product, and where AcceptMe is not an alternative.
- Undergraduate applicants to a nursing or health program that uses CASPer, who want a coached prep program for that test specifically.
- Families with the budget for a multi-thousand-dollar package who want one accountable firm across the application and who have read and accepted the terms of the guarantee.
Who should use AcceptMe instead, or as well
- Grade 12s facing a Kira interview for Ivey, Queen’s Commerce, Schulich or any Canadian business program, or a video interview or timed written answer at any school in any country, who want the questions written to that program’s format and as many timed runs as it takes.
- Students who want to see the price and start tonight rather than ask for a quote and wait.
- Clients of BeMo, or any consultant, who want to arrive at each paid session having already recorded and reviewed their answers, so the session goes on judgement rather than on rehearsal.
If Kira is the format you face, start with Kira Talent interview practice, which explains the prep-window-and-clock structure and how to rehearse it. Our roundup of interview practice apps and the guide to interview simulators for Canadian programs compare the self-serve tools, and the comparison of Canadian admissions coaching puts BeMo beside the rest. MedApplications is the closest comparison, a med-school firm with published high-school prices, and the consultants-by-city guide places BeMo among the regional options. Then open AcceptMe and record your first Kira-style answer tonight, for free.
